The adult daycare program is offered by the Fulton County Department of Senior Services to serve the needs of seniors who are 55-years-old and older who may have physical and/or cognitive limitations.
The Fulton County Adult Day Health Programs has implemented the Integrative Memory Enhancement Program (IMEP) acquired through the St. Johns County Council on Aging, Inc. The program is a structured, evidence-based program for seniors with early memory loss or suspected memory changes or impairments. Through a comprehensive series of activities, education and exercise the program stimulates and activates diverse mental functions. The IMEP focuses on addressing the mind/body connection of each individual. This is based on the scientific principle that the mind and emotions affect physical health and vice versa. ~Sanchez, Michelle ©2015, St. Johns County Council on Aging, Inc.~ https://www.coasjc.org/imepsjc/
