Board of Commissioners

YOUR Board of Commissioners

Fulton County is governed by a seven-member Board of Commissioners who are elected to four-year terms. Six of the members are district commissioners, and the Chairman is At-Large, representing all of Fulton County. The Board of Commissioners meets on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 10 a.m.

Meetings are live streamed on FGTV.

Starting, Wednesday, February 7, residents have three options to participate in public comment: in person, virtually via Zoom or in writing via email.

All virtual public comments and requests to speak in person must be submitted before the clerk sounds the start of the 10 a.m. meeting. During its January 16 Special Called Meeting, the Board of Commissioners approved a change regarding submission and presentation of all written email comments.

All written email public comments will now be accepted by the Board of Commissioners by close of business the Monday before the scheduled meeting. Submitted written email public comments will be provided to each Board Member the following Tuesday.

To submit a public comment in writing for the February 7 Board of Commissioners Meeting, residents can email
