Behavioral Health Crisis Center

This landmark project is the result of over three years of collaboration between Fulton County, the State of Georgia, and Grady Health System. With funding made possible through federal support, including the American Rescue Plan Act, and continued operational funding from the Georgia General Assembly, the center represents a major leap forward in ensuring accessible, timely mental health care for all Fulton County residents in need.

In partnership with Grady Health System and the Fulton County Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities, this state-of-the-art facility is set to provide exceptional care for individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges. Grady Health, a trusted healthcare partner, will operate the center, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience for everyone who walks through its doors.

The 24-bed, 16-chair center offers a warm, welcoming environment designed to address a wide range of mental health and substance use concerns. A standout feature is its innovative "living room," where individuals can receive peer support from those with personal experience navigating mental illness or substance use. This approach fosters understanding, empathy, and connection, greatly enhancing the healing process.
