Voter Challenges

Residency Challenge Guidelines:

• Challenges may be submitted via email or in person. If submitted via email the subject line should read “Residency Challenge."
• The challenger must include their name as well as their Fulton County address.
• The challenge should include the Electors full name, full date of birth, the Fulton County address associated with the elector and substantial evidence relating to the reason for the challenge.

Georgia law provides that any elector of the county or municipality may challenge the registration of another registered voter. The Fulton County Department of Registration and Elections (FCDRE) recommends that challengers submit their challenges along with substantial proof. FCDRE will acknowledge receipt of all challenges within 2-3 business days.
