Board of Health Leadership

This Board of Health consists of seven members. Members are to attend or will have four meetings annually or more if necessary.


The Fulton County Board of Health will hold a special called board meeting on August 25, 2022, starting at 10 a.m. In response to the ongoing pandemic and pursuant to O.C.G.A. 50-14-1(d)1, the meeting will be conducted via Zoom. The agenda may be found here online.

Lynne P. Meadows has 30 years of experience in the field of healthcare and nursing. Her career began when she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Queens College (New York). She earned her Master of Science degree in nursing from Georgia State University. Ms. Meadows is a long time employee of the Fulton County School System.

Clint W. Owens currently serves as the Unit Director of the Neuroscience ICU (2D/2G) at Emory University Hospital. The unit cares for patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage, stroke (ischemic and hemorrhagic), epilepsy, brain tumors, and various neuromuscular or neurodegenerative disorders.
