Matthew started with Gwinnett in 2018 as the County’s first Chief Information Security Officer with the primary mission of establishing a security program to reduce the risk associated with cyberattacks to county systems and data. Prior to joining Gwinnett, Matthew’s career included a wide range of security responsibilities, including breaking into systems, responding to cyber incidents, and security governance. He has a bachelor’s in information security from Georgia State University, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certifications.
