District 5 residents will have the opportunity to discuss Homestead Exemptions during four separate town halls.
Fulton County District 5 Commissioner Marvin S. Arrington Jr. is preparing to kick off the 2025 Spring District Dialogues. The annual town hall meetings will provide residents with an opportunity to receive vital information and updates regarding Homestead Exemptions.

In Fulton County, a homestead exemption is a legal provision that helps to reduce the amount of property taxes on owner-occupied homes. The home must be your primary residence. Applications can be filed year-round but must be submitted on or before April 1st to apply for the current tax year. Applications received after April 1st will be applied to the following tax year.

Residents will have the opportunity to meet with the Commissioner and senior staff from the Tax Assessor's office during four separate meetings:
