The 'Sorry I'm Late' art exhibit is being held at the Central Library. Hear more from Fine Artist/Illustrator Kellie Fowler-Posley as she talks about her favorite piece from a miniseries called Take Care. Within the short time of two years I've had a lot of health problems post-pandemic. With a lot of people once they become sick it's like the biggest thing they can focus on, so I decided to play with that concept and use dark colors for everything around except the afflicted area which is covered in bright neon red flowers. Those flowers funny enough are actually healing herbs people use in medicine. You know with the way the world is right now, people either have a deep trust or deep mistrust in the medical system, and I wanted to I guess air that frustration out but turn it into something beautiful.
