The award winners for the annual Art Calendar Contest were celebrated. Hear more from Public Works Environmental Manager Corlette Banks. This is an event that Public Works sponsors every year for K-12 students encouraging them to think about water resources and how we can protect and how we can conserve water. Events like these are very important because it brings awareness to our drought conditions that we may have and the importance for everyone students particularly to conserve water, to think of the ways that we don't conserve water, and to encourage good habits. If the students learn it then they can pass it along to their parents.
