The Fulton County Department of Registration and Elections is inviting residents to get a closer look at the elections process. The department is pleased to announce the kick-off of the Elections Academy on Thursday, July 18.
The Elections Academy, which is a comprehensive program, promises to provide participants with a transparent view of everyday elections operations. Attendees will also learn more about the Board of Registration and Elections, receive an overview of each department, and review upcoming key elections dates.
“The Elections Academy is part of our commitment to transparency, efficiency, and excellence,” said Elections Director Nadine Williams. “While we have offered Voter Education throughout the years, we are now offering Election Education, to empower citizens and combat misinformation by providing an understanding of elections operations.”
Elections Academy participant registration opportunities will be available each month starting July 18. Registration is required. Walk-ins will not be accepted. Participants may visit
