UPDATE - June 3, 2024 at 1:14 p.m.
Due to ongoing water pressure issues, two Fulton County libraries are closed for the remainder of today, Monday, June 3, 2024: the East Atlanta Library and the West End Library.
Patrons may visit any other Fulton County Library that is open. All locations may be found on the Fulton County Library website: https://www.fulcolibrary.org/all-locations/

Due to ongoing water pressure issues, Southeast Senior Center, located at 1650 New Town Cir SE, Atlanta, GA 30315, at is closed today, Monday, June 3.

All Fulton County facilities will open as normal on Monday, June 3, 2024. Public water fountains will be unavailable in the area affected by the City of Atlanta boil water advisory until that advisory is lifted.
UPDATE - June 1, 2024 at 8:44 a.m.
Due to ongoing water pressure issues within the City of Atlanta, the following Fulton County library locations will be closed today, Saturday, June 1, 2024:
Auburn Avenue Research, Central, East Atlanta, Kirkwood, Louise Watley @ Southeast, Mechanicsville, Metropolitan, Washington Park, West End. Updates will be provided about any additional closures.
In addition, due to an ongoing boil water advisory, public water fountains will be closed at all libraries in affected area.
UPDATE - May 31, 2024 at 1:15 p.m.
Fulton County offices in downtown Atlanta, including the Fulton County Government Center, located at 141 Pryor Street, Atlanta, GA 30303, and the Fulton County Courthouse, have lost water service due to today’s City of Atlanta water main break and are closed effective immediately.
This closure affects all Fulton County facilities in the area affected by the break, including the Helene Mills Senior Center, the Tax Assessors’ office at Peachtree Center, and the Office of the Public Defender.
Due to the break, the following library branches are closed: Auburn Avenue Research Library, Central Library, East Atlanta, Kirkwood, Louise Watley @ Southeast, Mechanicsville, Metropolitan, Washington Park, and West End.
The affected outage area is closed through the close of business on Friday, May 31.
Additional information will be provided when available
