This includes an additional $205 million dollars for mental health for a total budget of $1.6 billion dollars for the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, raises for state workers including law enforcement agencies, and $1.4 billion dollars in additional spending for K-12 education. Fulton County's primary policy priorities operational funding for the Behavioral Health Crisis Center, funding options for a replacement jail facility, and property tax appeal reforms to ensure a more equitable tax burden for homeowners.
