The FCME aims to inspire and inform a future generation of medical examiners and investigators through participating of Career Day at Paulding County High School. Medical examiners will discuss how their work in identifying the cause and manner of a death, as well as the surrounding circumstances, ultimately help safeguard public well-being, public safety and public health. 

Medical examiners also serve and assist the public by collaborating with law-enforcement officers, offering medical examiner’s reports, generating both official and pending death certificates, assisting with personal items, and seeking next of kin.
