Fulton County will offer modified services to the public on Monday, July 3, allowing many employees to enjoy a longer holiday weekend. All public facilities and offices will be closed for the Independence Holiday on Tuesday, July 4.
“Fulton County’s hard-working employees deserve an extra day to spend time with their families,” said Fulton County Chairman Robb Pitts. “This is an opportunity for us to express our thanks to Fulton County employees with minimal impact to the public.”
All scheduled hearings in Fulton County courts on Monday, July 3 will continue. Jurors called to report on Monday, July 3 should follow instructions from their summons.
All public safety services will continue.
Scheduled appointments for the Fulton County Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities on Monday, July 3 will also continue. In addition, senior home-delivered meals and transportation appointments will also continue on Monday.
The following Fulton County offices and facilities will be closed on both Monday, July 3 and Tuesday, July 4:

Fulton County Libraries
•
Fulton County Probate Court Offices
•
Fulton County Developmental Disability Facilities
•
Fulton County Adult Day Senior Centers and Multipurpose Senior Centers

Fulton County Tax Commissioner offices
•
Fulton County Tax Assessor offices
•
Emma I. Darnell Aviation Cultural Community Center
•
Administrative offices of the Medical Examiner
Neighborhood Senior Centers will open on Monday, July 3.
Offices and clinics of the Fulton County Board of Health will close at 2 p.m. The Vital Records office located at the Fulton County Government Center on Pryor Street will be closed. Customers may visit the College Park Health Center for services.
