The Fulton County Department of Public Works is now accepting applications for its 2023 Summer Internship Program. High school graduates and/or currently enrolled undergraduate or technical college students interested in working in public service are invited to apply for a chance to spend the summer with the Public Works Department. Applicants will get to work in the program from June 7 until August 15.
Throughout the summer, the selected interns will work closely with Public Works professionals on a variety of projects. The department has a variety of internship opportunities including Administration, Airport Services, Industrial Monitoring, Laboratory Services, Public Education, Technical Services, and Water Distribution Operations. Interns will gain valuable skills and experience and are paid a minimum of $15 per hour. To be considered for an internship, applicant must be a high school graduate (or G.E.D.) and at least 17 years old.
“Our office is excited to be accepting applications for the summer internship program,” said Public Works Director David Clark. “This program is critical to our department as we work to cultivate the next generation of talent preparing to one day serve the residents for Fulton County.”
