January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month. Fulton County Juvenile Court is coordinating conversations to educate the public. This one focuses on what makes youth vulnerable to trafficking and exploitation. Hear more from YouthSpark Executive Director Jennifer Swain. Because trafficking is very individualized every story and every child is different. We really want to take away some of those things that's been highlighted and make sure that we're teaching people to just take note on anything that's different and reach out when you think that there's a suspicion, not when you think it's just trafficking.
