Fulton County Board of Health Offices Closing Early

September 29, 2022
Hurricane Ian declared state of emergency by Governor Brian Kemp
Due to Hurricane Ian’s expected arrival later this week, all Fulton County Board of Health offices will close at 1 p.m. on Friday, September 30, 2022. Please note normal business hours will resume at all locations the following Monday, October 3, 2022. Vaccination events that included FCBOH participation are cancelled for Saturday, October 1 and Sunday, October 2.

This storm is currently producing heavy winds and damaging rainfall. All counties have been put on notice. As we prepare for Hurricane Ian to move up the coast towards Georgia, there are several ways to prepare including:

• Relocate to higher grounds if you are living in vulnerable housing situations
• Stay up to date with emergency family care based on guidance from local officials
• Prepare emergency kits
