Imagine how you'd feel being in Fulton County and you were constantly surrounded by words you could not comprehend. For some immigrants the struggle is real, daunting, and at times, lonely. That's where English as a second language (ESL) classes pave a pathway to a better life. The Fulton County Library System is partnering with Atlanta Public Schools Adult Education to offer ESL(English as a Second Language) at no charge in the central branch downtown. Students learn listening techniques, reading, writing in English; important skills to enter the workforce and be productive in their adoptive home.
