With less than 65 days left until the November General Election, Fulton County continues hitting the pavement to recruit poll workers. Tuesday, August 16 is National Poll Worker Recruitment Day. In recognition, the Fulton County Voter Education Outreach team is working to encourage all eligible residents to consider serving as a poll worker.
Fulton County is seeking to hire more than 2,000 poll workers. The workers will be used to staff the 36 polling locations for the Advanced Voting Period scheduled for October 17 to November 4 and for the more than 240 locations that will be open for the November 8, 2022 General Municipal Election.
To celebrate National Poll Worker Recruitment Day, the Fulton County Voter Education Outreach team will host recruiting events at the following locations on August 16:

141 Pryor Street 1000 North Point Circle
Atlanta, Ga. 30303 Alpharetta, Ga. 30022
10 a.m. – 2 p.m. 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.
To be a poll worker you must:
• Have a willingness to serve
• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Be willing to work from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Election. The polls will close at 7 p.m. on Election Day.
• Read and write English
• Have reliable transportation
All poll workers will attend in-person training. Poll worker training for Advanced Voting begins August 22.
