FCBOH and CORE to Offer Free COVID19 At-home Vaccinations and Rapid Antigen Testing

November 16, 2021

Fulton County residents looking for a free and convenient way to be tested for and vaccinated against COVID-19 now have a new resource providing at-home services to those in need. The Fulton County Board of Health (FCBOH), the Community Organized Relief Effort  (CORE), and Georgia State University have partnered to launch “Fulton At-Home COVID Services”.

The program seeks to address health disparities regarding access to COVID-19 care. More specifically, these free at-home services are intended to assist Fulton County residents who are more vulnerable to COVID-19 infection and death. The program will prioritize communities of color, homeless populations, as well as those people who are currently infected, experiencing symptoms, or have had a recent exposure to COVID.

Fulton County residents may request these services by accessing Fulton At-Home COVID Services Portal provided by CORE. From the portal, residents can request a rapid COVID-19 test or a first or second dose COVID-19 vaccine. The Fulton At-Home COVID Services program is offering Pfizer, Moderna, or Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines. Boosters and third doses are currently not offered through this program. As CORE provides free at-home COVID-19 vaccinations and rapid tests, the program also provides contact tracing and resource kit delivery to help positive cases and their families to effectively isolate and quarantine.
