Fulton County Public Works crews and the Ring Power Crane Company welcomed residents and leadership from Fulton County and Union City to celebrate completion of work to repair and replace sewer lines and infrastructure in the area of the Pine Valley subdivision. Much of the infrastructure in that neighborhood had been in place for more than 50 years.
Over 4,000 linear feet of new sanitary sewer lines were installed in this community after the failure of multiple lines in late 2018 and at the beginning of 2019. This announcement will included a show of appreciation for residents of the community who have waited patiently for the completion of work over a ten month time span. Fulton County Commission Chairman Robb Pitts and County Manager Dick Anderson are seen here inspecting part of the pipe that was replaced due to the rupture.
