The Fulton County Commission on the Environment, or FCCCE, is a citizen environmental advisory group appointed by the Board of Commissioners. The purpose of the FCCCE is to investigate environmental concerns; to make recommendations to the Fulton County Board of Commissioners on environmental policies; and to increase public awareness, understanding and involvement concerning environmental issues.
One of the ways in which we engage the Fulton County Environmental Community is to present annual awards to those individuals, organizations and companies that have excelled at improving the environment within Fulton County.
ABOUT THE FCCCE AWARDS
The FCCCE seeks nominations each year typically during the summer of projects, programs, community organizations and individuals in Fulton County that advocate and exemplify environmentally-sound practices to be recognized at its annual Environmental Awards Program. Selection Guidelines are not requirements and are intended only to offer guidance in identifying potential award recipients.
