New Orleans native DaShawn Raymond moved to Atlanta in 2005. In September 2021, he joined the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office, where he served as a Senior Investigator in the Major Crimes Division/Gang Unit until his appointment as Assistant Chief of the Major Crimes Division.
After joining the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office in 2018, Paula was assigned to the Crimes Against Women and Children Unit, where she worked with prosecutors to achieve justice. She has always had a heart for helping others, but since becoming an investigator in this office, she feels that she is fulfilling her life’s purpose by working closely with victims of the most heinous of crimes.
Originally from Chicago, Bernice Higgins moved to Atlanta in August 2006 when she was accepted to Clark Atlanta University. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Forensic Science. She has been working in law enforcement for 11 years and has experience in investigations ranging from narcotics, sexual assault and homicide.
Assistant Chief of Case Intake, Robert Turner, began his law enforcement career as a military police officer in the Army. He served stateside as well as in combat zones in Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
A native of Florida, William Chris Clark joined the Atlanta Police Department in 1988. He joined the department directly after he served in the United States Navy. He Spent 32 years with the Atlanta Police Department where he gained knowledge and expertise in a variety of assignments from patrol officer to investigations.
Assistant Chief Richard Stein’s 23-year career in law enforcement has landed him experience in detention centers, patrol divisions, and since 2009, investigations.
As the inaugural Director of Telecommunications Evidence Management in the Fulton County District Attorney 2021 Administration, Marlene brings a successful career of over two decades in the criminal justice system both in the Government and Private sectors.
