Passionate about justice and committed to excellence, Patrice has built a remarkable career in the criminal justice sector through dedication and hard work. With a keen eye for detail and a drive to make a difference, she has spent years supporting attorneys in some of the most challenging and impactful cases.
She pursued higher education at Savannah State University, majoring in Business Administration, before continuing her studies in Criminal Justice at Clayton State University.
Patrice began her journey as an Office Manager at the Law Office of Beverly J. Taylor, where she developed a strong foundation in legal administration. Her career took off when she joined the DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office, quickly advancing to the Special Victims Unit as a Senior Legal Assistant, assisting with high-profile human trafficking and elder abuse cases. Her exceptional organizational skills led to a promotion to the Appeals Unit, where she became the sole Legal Assistant supporting eight attorneys. Patrice’s dedication and efficiency earned her numerous accolades, including Trial Assistant of the Year (2015), DeKalb County Star Employee (2017), Trial Assistant of the Year (2018), and Trial Assistant of the Year (2019).
Her leadership and commitment to quality work led to a role as Director of Operations at the Douglas County District Attorney’s Office, where she further honed her management and operational skills. Patrice then joined the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office, working in the Special Victims Division and later the Human Trafficking/Internet Child Exploitation Unit. She earned the Diamond Award in her first year for her exemplary performance and commitment and the Rising Star Award (2024) for her dedication to excellence.
Now serving as Chief Legal Assistant for the Brenda Baham Domestic Violence Division, Patrice leads the support staff and collaborates closely with the Executive and Deputy District Attorneys to enhance the unit’s impact. Known for her meticulous work and unwavering commitment, she remains dedicated to providing top-tier assistance to attorneys pursuing justice.
Outside of work, Patrice finds fulfillment in spending time with her family, leading Bible study sessions, and traveling with friends. She is the mother of three adult children and a loving Nana to five grandchildren.
