Commissioner Hall to Host Annual CEOs of Tomorrow Youth Conference

Fulton County District 4 Commissioner Natalie Hall will host her annual Careers-Entrepreneurship-Opportunities (C.E.O.s) of Tomorrow Youth Conference on Friday, October 27, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The conference, which will be held at The Loudermilk Center, located at 40 Courtland St. NE, near downtown Atlanta, will inspire youth across the county.

This innovative youth conference will empower the 300 high schoolers in attendance to “Talk, Think, and Take Action” to overcome the challenges and socioeconomic barriers they are facing in their lives. Youth will also hear from Special Guest Speaker Judge Terrinee L. Gundy who was appointed to the Municipal Court of Atlanta by former Mayor Kasim Reed in 2013. The conference will address entrepreneurship, career development, team building strategies, and developing life skills to guarantee success.

Following a breakfast introduction, the students will hear from a host of keynote inspirational speakers. Youth will also participate in a lunch panel discussion and experience a series of interactive workshops and exhibits designed to teach them how to achieve success.

“Our young people are our future leaders, and it is our responsibility to ensure that our youth are prepared for the real-world challenges they will encounter and choose a successful path for their life,” said Commissioner Hall. “I know this year’s conference will give them the proper insight on how they can be successful and achieve their goals. We have so many talented and dynamic workshop presenters, panelists and speakers participating in this year’s conference. I am grateful for those who choose to use their time, talents, and funding to support our youth.”

The C.E.O.s of Tomorrow Youth Conference will provide Fulton County and Atlanta Public School high school students with a wide range of career and leadership options that include engineering, law enforcement, government, mathematics, arts, film, and fashion to the career and leadership. Youth will also hear from the Fulton County Library System, and Cool Kids Fund, Inc., and Music Education Group. Representatives from the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office, the Marshal’s Department, Juvenile Court, and the Solicitor General’s
Office will also be on hand discussing careers in law and law enforcement.
