August is Clear the Shelter month and Fulton County is thinking outside the box to find homes for the hundreds of animals in the overcrowded facilities. Clear the Shelter is an annual initiative where we partner with NBC Universal and the idea is to draw more attention and educate the public about all of the animals that are in our shelters. Also to educate the public on how they can become adopters and fosters and also volunteer their time in helping our shelters.
