Pre-Indictment Diversion / Record Restriction Liaison

Kirsten Williams, the Pre-Indictment Diversion and Record Restriction Liaison, joined the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office in 2021 as a Crime Analyst for the Sexual Assault Kit Initiative Unit of the Special Victims Division. She is continuing her mission to serve the community through various community-service initiatives, community organizations and partners, and her sorority, Delta Sigma Theta. She is an experienced case manager, providing service to the community by obtaining a full perspective of the individual, not just current circumstances.

She holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Georgia State University, where she became a member of Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Co-ed Business Fraternity, won numerous awards and scholarships, and held leadership positions for various organizations. She received her Juris Doctorate from Florida A&M University College of Law, where she was president of the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division Law Student Division, coordinating practical skills events, mental- and physical-wellness events, and public-service events. She has also held other leadership positions and roles in Georgia and Florida.

She has more than 10 years of experience working with small to mid-sized law firms, solo attorneys, and government entities in Georgia, Florida, and Massachusetts. She also has more than six years of experience in social work, behavioral sciences, and health and human sciences while serving as a social services case manager for Georgia’s Division of Family & Children Services, a program coordinator for various non-profit organizations and small businesses, and a guardian ad litem. She has also served as a legal consultant in the management of accounting firms, nonprofits, and small businesses on budgeting, marketing, organizational, compliance, and Title IX issues.
