Lisa Holland was raised in Dunwoody, GA, where she attended public elementary and high school.
After graduation, she embarked on a 35-year career in law enforcement with the Roswell Police Department. While working full‐time, she attended college and earned her degree in Criminal Justice. She was the first officer in the department to achieve the rank of Master Police Officer, which made her the department’s top-ranking officer. After working 13 years as a patrol officer, Lisa became an accident investigator with the Traffic Enforcement Unit. Holland served as a detective for 12 years before she was selected to fill the role of Community Relations Officer. In her new position, she made meaningful connections with residents, schools, churches, civic organizations, and community leaders. Lisa was committed to making a positive impact in the community to help strengthen relationships with the police department.
Holland was heavily engaged with the community on a larger scale when she was appointed as the media spokesperson for the Roswell Police Department.
As the Public Information Officer, she was able to broaden her connection with the community by providing citizens with a current flow of open communication through national news, local news, and social media platforms. Holland remained in this position for 10 years before retiring in 2019.
Lisa Holland looks forward to continuing her passion for keeping citizens safe and informed through her new role with the Fulton County District Attorney’s office.
