Tomiko Williams

“…those who say it cannot be done should not interrupt the people doing it…”
Tomiko Williams became passionate about Juvenile Justice at the age of 11 after she watched her mother navigate a complex system that ultimately took her brother from his family for more than 20 years. With over 15 years of experience in the juvenile justice field, Tomiko continues to connect youth and their families to services and programs within the community that focus on rehabilitation. She joined Fulton County Juvenile Court as the Court Program Administrator in 2021 by way of the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice (SCDJJ) where she worked in various roles over the last 15 years. As the County Director of Greenville SCDJJ, she led the initiative and the successful opening of the first and only Juvenile Assessment Center in the State. She brings that same passion for services to Fulton County. Tomiko holds a Bachelor of Arts from Salve Regina University in Newport, RI, and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Phoenix. Ms. Williams resides in Atlanta, GA, where she is now closer to her daughter, her son, and her grandson.
