Lamar Rhodes is an attorney with more than 15 years of litigation experience and a record of excellence in trial advocacy. Lamar Rhodes graduated from the Vermont Law School in South Royalton, Vermont, and received his Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Savannah State University. Lamar Rhodes has significant experience handling complex felony criminal and civil cases throughout the State of Georgia. Before joining District Attorney Fani Willis’ administration, Lamar Rhodes was a Senior Litigator with Allstate Insurance Company. As a senior trial attorney, Lamar Rhodes, handled matters on all state court levels defending tort liability and causation actions, successfully defending against excessive demands in civil suits.

Before joining Allstate, Lamar Rhodes, was a private practitioner specializing in criminal defense, DUI, personal injury, and a Georgia Parent Attorney defending in Juvenile Court Deprivation cases. As a public defender and private attorney, Lamar Rhodes, handled major felony high-profile criminal matters, inclusive of, homicides, sex crimes, and public integrity cases. Lamar Rhodes has received recognition as an Employee of the Quarter as a trial attorney in Fulton County and his inaugural quarter at Allstate he received the “Trial of the Quarter” award for the Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee complex at Allstate Insurance, for successfully defending in a jury trial against a tort liability claim.

Lamar Rhodes is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., a Life Member of the Savannah State University National Alumni Association, and a founding member of the Legal Defense Coalition for the Preservation of Georgia HBCUs.

Lamar Rhodes now employs his litigation experience, and passion for restorative and reformative justice to serve the citizens of Fulton County.
