I have been at the District Attorney’s Office for approximately 3 years and had the opportunity to be assigned in Anti-Corruption Unit, Trial Division and Juvenile Division. I was also employed with Georgia State University Police Department for 3 years and retired from the Plainfield Police Department in New Jersey with 20 years of law enforcement experience.

I am originally from Elizabeth, New Jersey. My Parents are from Sylvania and Statesboro, Georgia. Started my law enforcement career in Plainfield, NJ and worked Patrol. After patrol for 2.5 years, immediately was assigned to the Narcotics Unit where I investigates and apprehends persons suspected of illegal sale or use of narcotics: compiles identifying information on suspects charged with selling narcotics. Worked and shared information with County, State and Federal Agencies.

Assigned as a Homicide Investigator where I conducted interviews with potential witnesses and suspects, review records, monitor the activities of suspects, and participated in arrests. Worked all cases until an arrest was made and a worked with District Attorney’s Office until trials were complete.

Assigned as a Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Investigator, where I conducted numerous of Forensic Interviews (Anatomical Dolls) physical, sexual abuse and psychological cruelty perpetrated against a minors. Investigated excessive punishment, neglect or other harmful and malicious behavior towards a minor by their natural, adopted parent or caregivers. Worked as a member of the SART Team (Sexual Assault Response Team and work hand in hand with the SANE Member (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner).

As Police Analyst / Project Manager, researched written and managed over 5 Million dollars in Byrne Justice Law Enforcement Grants and State Grants. Completed semi and annual reports on the effectiveness and synthesis of grant programs. As a forensic interviewer, conducted 20 over Polygraph and Voice Stress Analysis Examinations to determine deception in criminal and background investigations.

I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Rutgers University. Graduate Studies at American Public University in Criminal Justice. Project Management Certificate from Villanova University. Paralegal Certificate from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Polygraph Training at the Scientific Investigative Training Center in Philadelphia, PA and Voice Stress Analysis Training with NITV Federal Services.
