Feleshia Ali is a native of Evergreen, Alabama, but has resided in Georgia for approximately 20 years. Feleshia holds a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Masters of Education, and a Doctorate of Instructional Leadership. Feleshia comes from a long line of family members with a history of helping others, who truly believe that helping others is a way to make life better for them and the community. After working in corrections for 3 years, Feleshia believed that her skills and passion could reach more people in the community.

Feleshia then began working with mental health agencies that served both adults and our youth in Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. She began this journey first as an Assistant Director at a day program for adults. During her time working in the mental health field, she held various positions such as Wraparound Supervisor/Administrator, School Crisis Counselor, School Behavior Counselor, Care Coordinator, Case Manager, Intensive Case Manager, Team Lead for ICM, as well as Drug and Alcohol Facilitator. Feleshia has worked tirelessly with community providers, as well as State and Federal agencies in the development and execution of success mental health programs. During her time working with mental health agencies, Feleshia joined the United States Navy Reserve and served for 15 years.

Feleshia currently serves as a Community Resource Specialist at the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office. The primary goal of the Community Resource Specialist is to connect the citizens, community, and elected officials with the Fulton County District Attorney on their concerns, needs, and desires to enhance safety and a positive community.

Feleshia is also charged with facilitating and overseeing the Junior DA (District Attorney) program. The program goal is to enhance students understanding of the legal system and create an atmosphere of positivity within the community.

In her spare time, Feleshia enjoys time with family, reading, traveling, and trying new foods. Her favorite color is red, and she loves working with others to help them achieve success.
