Jazmin Dilligard

Jazmin Dilligard is a New Jersey native. Although she was born in Queens, NY, she was raised in Burlington Township, New Jersey. As president of the Criminal Justice Student Association, she nearly tripled membership involvement, organized and ran meetings and programs, and brought awareness to campus for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.

During her leadership position, Jazmin launched a month-long campaign against human trafficking to raise awareness on campus for a cause that is not only an international tragedy but also a tragedy happening in our own backyard. Jazmin was able to collect and donate numerous boxes filled with toiletries, and a check for over $1,000 from raised funds, to a local human trafficking shelter.

After graduating Cum Laude from the University of Alabama, Jazmin continued her education at The University of Washington in St. Louis School of Law where she obtained her Masters of Legal Studies. While attending graduate school, Jazmin had the privilege of gaining valuable legal support experience by working at both criminal defense and later a nonprofit law firm. Jazmin has experience with client communication, opening, closing, and managing client files, eDiscovery and discovery handling, drafting pleadings, trial/hearing preparation, and other support staff task such as filing, calendaring and proficient utilization of Microsoft office/Adobe.

In addition to joining the executive team at the District Attorney’s office under Madam DA Willis, Jazmin also attends law school part-time in the evening here in Atlanta, GA, where hopes to one day become an Assistant District Attorney in this very office. Jazmin is a current member of the Criminal Law Society, a student member of the Georgia Association of Women Attorneys and the Greater Atlanta Black Prosecutors organization, as well as currently serving as the Director of Community Service for the Southern Region of the Black Law Students Association.

Jazmin is an energetic, determined, and passion-driven young professional who is detail orientated, and prides herself on organization and creating systems to help aid her in being successful both at work and in the classroom.

When not working or studying, Jazmin enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, trying new foods, and fighting her shopping obsession. You can find her at home browsing through Amazon and other fashion sites, or playing outside with her three-year-old German Shepherd named Titan.
